About Carolina
Carolina is a Clinical Psychologist and founder of Solstice Psychology. She works with adults across a broad range of concerns, with a particular interest in supporting people during the perinatal period — from fertility challenges and pregnancy through to early parenthood. Alongside private practice, Carolina’s background includes research in parenting and brain development, as well as clinical roles across both public and private mental health settings.
At the heart of Carolina’s work is a deep respect for each person’s individual story. Her approach is grounded, collaborative, and compassionate. She brings warmth, authenticity and care into the therapy room, aiming to create a space where clients feel safe enough to be curious — about their thoughts, emotions, life stories, and hopes for the future. Carolina supports clients to clarify what matters most to them, and to gently shift unhelpful patterns that get in the way of living in alignment with their values, needs and goals.
Carolina draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, CBT and EMDR. Her work is also grounded in Attachment Theory, and she is a registered Circle of Security Facilitator. Carolina tailors therapy flexibly to suit clients’ individual needs, always holding in mind that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the most important foundation for this work to be meaningful.
Whether you are at a turning point in your life, experiencing mental health difficulties, or simply seeking space to reflect and recalibrate, you will be met by Carolina with empathy and support.

Is Solstice Psychology the right fit for me?
Starting therapy is a big step — and finding the right therapist can make all the difference.
Carolina has a warm and collaborative approach to therapy, which involves making sense of what’s going on beneath the surface — not just managing symptoms, but understanding their roots.
Solstice Psychology may be a good match if you:
are aged 18+
are seeking support for mental health concerns in the perinatal period (pre-conception through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting), or
are seeking support during other life stages for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, adjustment to major life transitions, trauma, or grief and loss.
are open to exploring your inner world and seeking a deeper understanding of your emotional patterns and behaviours.
want therapy to be a reflective space, not just a solution-focused one.
Solstice Psychology may NOT be the right fit if you are looking for very brief, highly structured therapy, or if you're primarily seeking assessments, reports, or medico-legal input.
If you are unsure, please feel free to reach out to organise a brief conversation to help you decide whether this space feels right for you.
